2017 & 2018 8 Coin Complete Lincoln Cent Set with Uncirculated Business Strike P&D Coins, Enhanced Uncirculated S, Proof Strike S Coin & Reverse Proof Strike S Coin
Up for sale is a 2017 & 2018 8 Coin Complete Lincoln Cent Set featuring all of the Lincoln cents released by the US Mint in 2017 & 2018.  2017 & 2018 has a number of interesting Lincoln cents that have been released including the following:
1) 2017 Enhanced Uncirculated S Lincoln Cent - This is the first and thus far only enhanced uncirculated Lincoln cent released by the US Mint.  This coin was released as part of the 225th Anniversary Mint Set in 2017 and the mintage on the sets was limited to 225,000 making this cent potentially a key coin in the future.
2) 2018 Reverse Proof S Lincoln cent -
This is the first and thus far only reverse proof Lincoln cent released by the US Mint.  This coin was released as part of the 50th Anniversary San Francisco Proof Set in 2018 and the mintage on the sets was limited to 200,000 making this cent potentially a key coin in the future.
3) 2017 "P" cent - In 2017 the US mint utilized a "P" mint mark on the Lincoln cent for the first and only time in the series.  This was done to commemorate the 225th Anniversary of the mint.
the business strike P&D coins fresh from 2018 uncirculated rolls, and the S proof coins directly from US mint proof sets.  The reverse proof 2018 coin was released only as part of the 50th San Francisco Mint Anniversary Set and is the first reverse proof Lincoln cent.  Those sets have a limited mintage of 200,000 likely making the reverse proof coin a key coin in the Lincoln series in the future.
4) 2017 & 2018 traditional "S" proof coins - Mintages on the proof sets each year continue to decline.  Although final mintage figures on 2017 and 2018 proof sets are not yet available as both sets are currently still available for purchase direct from the  mint, mintage figures appear to be continuing the downward trend which is  pushing up the price on later date lincoln proofs.
