    Description

This listing is for an authentic piece of hand blown glass made by the Clevenger Brother glassworks established in 1930.  Clevenger Brothers Glassworks was one of the last standing glass houses in Southern New Jersey. They made hand blown glass in the old South Jersey traditions and used old 3 piece molds that had been purchased from the older glass houses. Clevenger brothers hired some of the best glass blowers in the area and produced beautiful pieces until they closed forever in 1999.
This hand blown pitcher is from the Stoddard line and features a crisp starburst pattern from a three piece mold with a hand applied handle. It is a deep cobalt blue and embossed "CB" on the bottom. It stands 00" tall.  It's hard to date Clevenger Brothers but most of the other pieces that I purchased from the estate were from the 1950's and 60's.
Condition: No chips, cracks or repairs but there is some staining on the bottom of the pitcher.
