QUETZALCOATL PENDANT IN GUATEMALAN JADEITE JADE
We finally got some more of these Quetzalcoatl pendants in! This one is one of the smaller ones, and it is carved out of light blue "Princesa" jadeite. The blue jadeite is very translucent and has a hint of green. Orange from the crust of the stone can be seen on the bottom. Black Guatemalan jade was
inlaid
to make the eyes of this beautiful carving. This is a smaller and thinner piece for those who like a lighter necklace.
