Early 1900s Quincy, ILLINOIS POULTRY STOCK MEDICINE CO Wood VETERINARY Crate !!!
This wooden crate has black stencil advertising on each of the 2 long sides that says
ILLINOIS
POULTRY MEDICINE ILLINOIS STOCK MEDICINE CO.
Each of the ends is marked
QUINCY, ILL.
Measures about 13-1/2 inches wide, 8-1/2 inches tall, and about 8-1/2 inches in depth.
I think this once has some type of metal bail handle so it could be easily carried like a basket.
Some wood loss to one end side, still a very solid crate/box, also missing the wire bail handle but still has part of metal hook on one end, stencil lettering is still pretty sharp and readable.
