FLASH SALE: LARGE GUATEMALAN GUATEMALITA MAYAN CARVING
Here is a very large carving for you! This multi face carving was done from a stone commonly sold as jade in Guatemala. It is known as "Guatemalita" which some refer to as a "cultural jade", but it is not technically jadeite. This big carving has one of the stretched earlobes broken off, which makes it look very much like an artifact. It has two holes in it, so it could be hung from a cord. I think it would look really cool in a potted plant or garden. Like an ancient ruin!
This carving was made at our shop in Copan Ruinas, Honduras by a descendant of the Chor'ti Maya.
Jade has been used as a sacred stone for centuries, bringing serenity, wisdom, balance and all things associated with the best of spiritual practices.
