Description

Beautiful cup and saucer/plate snack set/ breakfast set/ luncheon set. Design by Marie Pierre Boitard features pink and blue birds and branches of pink, yellow and blue flowers with green leaves. On the cup, the birds are flying. On the plate, the blue bird is serenading the pink bird who is resting on a branch. The edge of the cup and the plate are rimmed with red.
The bottom of each piece is marked Les Amoureux, but current catalogs show a completely different design for this pattern name, so I am guessing it is vintage.
The plate/saucer is 10 X 5 inches with a 3/4 inch rim and an indentation to hold the cup. The footed cup is 3.5 inches in diameter and just over 2.25 inches tall.
