These were purchased by me in about 1985 from the artist who made them to be worn in festivals and special parades in Guatemala. Segments of embroidery from dresses and blouses were applicaded all over a pair of blue jeans to created these fabulous highly unique pants. The embroidery appears to have all been done by machine but all of the applique is done by hand. They are very heavy to actually wear although there would be no other reason not to wear them. The size appears to be about 7 or 8. They are truly very unusual and a fantasy of flowers with a few animals. Although worn there are no rips or worn out places.
