This pendant is made of a Guatemalan antique coin and features the Mayan Prophecy Calendar. There are deer on either side of the coin black stone beads. The coin has a rich patina and a single strand of red beads.

Description
Chanchal is Quechua (the Inca language) for necklace. Indigenous people of Guatemala still wear chanchals. Each village has its own symbols and designate the social rank of the wearer.
This pendant is made of a Guatamalan antique coin and features the Mayan Prophecy Calendar on both sides.
There are small deer on either side of the main coin and large black stone beads.  The coin has a rich patina and a single strand of red beads.
The coin measures 1 1/2" across. The necklace length is approx. 22".
