ORIGINAL!  John Deere 1988 "Model D" Limited Edition Belt Buckle.
This buckle is a LIMITED EDITION and is numbered 1710 / 6000.
Buckle measures 3.50"x 2.50" and was manufactured by the Lee Wayne Company, Inc., Sterling, IL.
It comes in a black case and includes the Limited Edition pamphlet .
The back of the buckle is inscribed "Introduced in 1923, the Model "D" established John Deere in the farm tractor business because it was low cost, economical to run maneuverable, easy to operate and service, durable and dependable.  The "D" became one of the most popular tractors for it's time."  "(C) 1986 DEERE & COMPANY, MOLINE, ILLINOIS" and is numbered 1710 / 6000.
