These card holders were distributed to
FEMALE  MEMBERS
of the John Deere Foundry Fire Brigade Waterloo Plant who preferred not to receive the belt buckle.
The cardholder uses the face of the buckle with a rack on the back to hold business cards.
NOTE:  THERE WERE 100 BELT BUCKLES EXACTLY LIKE THIS PRODUCED.
Cardholder features the FIRE BRIGADE LOGO on front.

NOTE:  The manufacture - Anacortes Brass Works Ltd. was a privately owned company.  It was closed on April 1, 2016.  All custom designs casting patterns were then destroyed to protect the unauthorized reproduction of their buckles.  This ensures that these buckles were limited to the only manufacture, Anacortes Brass Works.  This also ensures their collectibility.  Any new manufacturer will have to make new patterns according to their casting procedures.
