Description

Vintage San Juan Cotzal Huipil Guatemala Textile Embroidered Poncho circa 1960 or prior. Hand spun off white base thread with vibrant colors. Two of the sides have been unstitched and would need to be re-sewn. These two sides were folded up underneath as I believe this was a display as one can see some of the age spots along the border edge. There are some loose threads and age patina as seen in photos. Could be displayed on a wall or framed. Measures approx. 33" across lying flat and 25" long from top of shoulder to bottom edge.
